Screwed up sequence again LOL. Anyway, will blog about Legoland tomorrow afternoon. I still have pictures to go through.
Stomachache in the morning/yesterday so I gave tuition a miss. Sleep > eat > sleep > toilet toilet toilet. Probably emptied everything from inside out. Still feeling a little.. weird but I think I'm getting better.
Dined at Paradise Dynasty for the first time! The la mian's serving is huge, xiao long bao is really quite good. I like the foie gras/cheesy one. Actually I don't know how foie gras taste like but I like the overall flavour.
I was there with my long lost friend, Crystal! She is the first friend I made in my whole entire life. So sad I can't remember most of my kindergarten years anymore. T ^ T Nonetheless, I'm still happy to see her again. Thank you cyberspace/facebook!
Went out for night stroll and restocked butter. Gonna make full use of the oven before school/work.
I enjoy baking but I don't like to eat them. My family too sigh. Distributing my next successful (I'm not that bad to give you bad tasting cakes/cupcakes) to the first group of people I meet hehee!
Alright that's about all for today's 1 minute of entertainment.
Ending off with my supper.
I love these cheap moon cakes

Went for a 4h work first before meeting Yq to grab all the necessities for picnic. Don't know why but Appy always reminds me of picnic (maybe it's because of her chun gu style LOL).
Basically we got sushi, banana, blood orange juice, phad thai, Aglio olio, omelette... There might be more but that's all I can remember. Bought tarts instead of cake. Cakes are too mainstream + the tarts are really yummy!
Anyway, went down to gardens by the bay to search for a strategic spot (ie away from the crowd). I guess we are one of the first few people to picnic in GBTB. Found a pretty good spot behind the elevator facing OCBC sky walk? We thought it is a good spot away from the people but we were so wrong. It turns out that there is a light show at the OCBC domes hence people were streaming in every hour or so.
Managed to catch the breathtaking sunset!
Anyway, back to picnic. Yq thought of some 'games' to delay ape while we wait for sm and sw to reach.
Gobbled down all the food once they came so there's not food pic. Too hungry :l
Chill and relax before heading home.
Outings nowadays revolve around food but at least this one is something longer and in a different setting?
The rest of the pictures for you to enjoy.
Photos credit to yq/ape/me.
Happy birthday appy I hope you like it.
Stay happy my dear girl :)
I want to share my holy grail with you guys (or girls).
Simple 12h light moisturiser
What is it: Moisturiser
Consistency: Cream
Smell: Not anything fanciful
Size: 125ml
Aftermath feel: Supple skin
Made in: UK
Price: $10-15 in Watsons, $6.90 in Venus
Where to buy: Watsons, Venus
What I like about it:
The lightweightness
This is so easily absorbed and it feels like I'm not having anything on my face after blending it in. So light but at the same time so moisturising. It is not oily and keeps my skin supple even with only a thin layer.
The size and price
Very big bottle for a low price. PS, you can get them cheap at stores like Venus. I got 2 bottles from UK and they are only SGD$5 each.
The target audience
Simple products live up to its name - simple. No harsh chemicals or fragrances so I believe people with sensitive skin can use it as well. This is my holy grail when I broke out like mad a year or two ago
T ^ T Don't know how I'd survive without this and Simple's cleanser
What I don't like about it:
There's is really nothing I don't like about it. However, if you really want me to squeeze something, here is it.
The smell
Not bad smelling but not a nice scent as well. That's the down point about no-fragrance-added products.
The Verdict
I love this moisturiser a lot. I've about 3 bottles at home. Yea my holy grail. I don't usually use this with anything else because this is really good. Furhermore, this thing kept my face moisturised even when I'm breaking out. It helped me when my skin was super sensitive. This moisturiser will forever be in my basic 3-step skincare list. Simple and useful.
Rating: 9/10
Repurchase: What do you think? I've 3 bottles at home hiak
Go try if you have not and experience the difference for yourself.
Here to fill up the gap due to weekends!
My current fav combination - apples, bananas and dragon fruit!
Went to grab a new phone for my sissy because hers is almost gone.
Not changing mine any time soon (because I'm damn broke) so my dear phone please take care!

Cheesy baked fish
Anyway, watched a 2 movies last/last last week?
First was World War Z
Zombie movies are like my fav fav~ Not too bad!
Next is Despicable Me 2! Minions omg they are really adorable.
Good mood today because cupcakes turned out decent! You don't know how many times I've failed man. At least they can be eaten yay.
Met Dan 2 days ago to make this for Vinu. He even took off for it, this guy is seriously a keeper.
I hope you enjoyed your day V! Eat well rest well and get well soon!
Thank you for constant encouragement, your regards when I'm not feeling well, your sweet little efforts and all the penguins! 你有想到我我就很开心了
Happy birthday :3
There are many more unsung heroes in my life. I don't mention them all the time but that doesn't mean they aren't important.
Something more than good. It is good good.
There are many ways to attain this. One way for sure is practice. Practice, no matter in what, will produce some sort of desirable results.
*****************
This is a busy July. Well, I can say the busiest month of the year. I've so many events lined up one after another (a lot of work too). School is starting in approximately a month's time, that means my 3 months long break is coming to an end.
To be honest, this 2 months has been pretty fruitful. I went for a 12D11N trip with my dearest family, met up many friends, packed and cleaned my little place, knew new friends, created wonderful memories...
Have slightly less than half of 2013 left so I am going to fill it up with exciting stuff! There will be school (and horribly long labs) but it shouldn't be that bad.
Lastly, I drafted my half year/one year plan/targets. I used to hate planning/writing my schedule down but now I can't function without my day properly planned out. Or week.
A planner will come in handy now.
Tons of targets to achieve too. They come in various form - academic, interactions, things to buy/spend on, places to visit etc.
I don't know how to get there yet but the road will eventually straighten out. Haha it always do. Cheers X
I am such a diligent girl! 1 post everyday since the start of July.
According to statistics, I've the highest number of posts/views in July.
Enjoy while it last everybody!
