The Verdict:
All of them smell so wonderful and my skin is so supple after using Beaute's masks. I don't mask regularly (read lazy) but luckily Beaute Forest masks are able to do their magic when I put them on once in a while. The 2-step masks are quite fun and nice to use. Out of all I've tried, my favourites are the Truffle & Resveratrol Whitening mask (the mask is blue!) and Q10 & Silk Protein Fine Fairness Mask. The Chamomile one is great if my skin is acting up that day. Very calming, I like it too! Lastly, they are easily available and very reasonably priced too. So well why not!

I shall omit work and tuition stuff.

Last Yoga lesson before I fly. Thankful I decided to go for it with xy about a year ago. Yoga stretches not only my body but also my mind. I'm still learning, I'm still discovering. Every pose I perfect is a little milestone in my life. Monday's yoga day! Cannot stop even when I'm not attending lessons! (I hope)

Met Crystal with the intention of stuffing our faces with siew mai and har gao but the dimsum place was closed. Hopped over to NEX and found a really nice Jap pasta place for lunch! So gonna go back when I'm back.
I honestly wasn't playing attention to the name of the dishes etc as I was freaking hungry. I would have jumped right in without a pre-meal shoot if Crystal is not around LOL. If you're interested, check Kabe no ana @ NEX for more details.
Managed to settle some of won's stuff after that.

Both sis and I forgot our keys LOL. Luckily mom to the rescue.
Baked after my work and stuff and chocolate chip muffins turned out decent. In fact, they are probably the best thing I've made thus far. :D
12/6/2014, Thurday
Met Nana for manicure (WHICH CHIPPED WTF) and hair cut. I like how the manicurist shapes my nails. I've squarish nails sot I really like round nails. #I'monlyhuman
I've bangs again and surprisingly it is less warm than fringe? What sorcery is this?

Had a really good day at work. I was sweating like some crazy 10km marathon runner but it was so worth it. I'm the 敬业乐业 kind, if you can't tell.
Meet my dearests after so so long.
Conclusion: Tim and I have no fate. Arranged to meet on bus but I boarded the first one he boarded the second one LOL. Even after calling to confirm.
Conclusion 2: It is impossible not to have fun with them.
Conclusion 3: No matter how much they changed, they are still the same 13 year old kids I met 8 years ago.

You know, spend some free time catching up on my dramas!
Currently watching Bel Ami (can't load cause Internet was really slow), Doctor Stranger and Roommates.
Attempted to pack too.
And you know, remind myself what I can't buy, excessively wtf.

Change of plans so ended up in gym with pigong. It's quite fun! There's a free 100 dollars credit when you sign up for activesg account so that means entrance is free! Go sign up if you haven't!
I don't mind going again to of course to shed some more fats before my won trip. I hope no muscle ache tomorrow. Anyone interested too?

Ears' favourite this week:
The heat every summer is insane. A short 5-10 mins walk to the bus interchange makes me sweat like crazy. It is irritating as my makeup tends to melt and my face is damn oily in just a few hours.
The pink metallic words stand up against the black squeeze tube.
It is easy to use but I find the amount of product per tube is very little. It will most likely run out very soon as I've been using it almost daily. Collection can consider launching a larger tube of primer instead.
No obvious or strong scent.
It does not take long to dry. In fact, I really like the velvet and silky finish after application. It did a decent job with lines and my pores. To demonstrate this, I applied the primer on my wrinkly hand.
The lines ain't as obvious as it was.
My base/bb cream glides on so easily. No apparent change in colour of my skin tone or things like that.
And I only managed to reach home at around 11.40pm or something?
THAT'S A GOOD 13HR. Touched up my makeup (aka wipe sweat + powder) at 9pm before meeting the peeps.
My before and after photos look almost identical. After 13h of hardwork/play it is inevitable to look disheveled. Hence, I am only showing you the after! Yes, the not so well-groomed one.
Here's my tired face! Please just focus on how matt my skin looks.
My make up is at the very least visible at the end of the day.
It keeps my face decent despite the weather and long working hours. I don't look like I went running at the end of the day.
Having said that, some oxidation and shine is observed after 5-6 hours. It is more prominent around my T-zone, especially my nose.
I remove my make up like how I normally would, that is with a make up cleanser > facial cleanser > clarifying toner for my skin and a water-based make up cleanser around my eye. Make sure you remove everything thoroughly!
So far so good. No breakouts or allergies. Thorough removal is critical if you do not wish to clog all your pores. 5 stars since my skin likes it.
This is the first primer and it did not disappoint. It works reasonably well in terms of oil control as well as the lasting power. The primer managed to fill up my pores and any fine lines on my face. I like to use it when I know I'm out all day long as I don't have to touch up as much. It is also reasonably priced; You can consider picking this one up if you're new to the whole primer thing. However, I find the amount of product per tube is rather little. It will run out in no time if one uses it everyday. I don't know how good the high-end primers are but I'm really quite satisfied with Primed and Ready. This is one of my summer essentials right now!
What's the point of spending all the time in front of the mirror when it's all gone in a few hours right!!
That's why every girl needs a primer in her make up collection.

Finish
Dries with a velvet, smooth finish. It doesn't look like you've anything on but it is so so silky if you run your hand over it. It gives me a matt look with a subtle glow from within. (of course that's with my trusty BB cream).
Stars: ★★★★★
Lasting test
My day:
10am - make up
11-3pm - tuition
3-9pm - outdoor work (last night was probably the most humid day in my whole entire life, I swear. I was sweating so much and the outlet was flooded with customers)
9-11.20pm - Mac supper/chitchat session

I did a poor job in concealing my dark circles please bear with me! No edit on colour or skin or lighting.

Hello!
Well, my week was you know, pretty mundane. All I did was work, work and more work.
How interesting.
Changed branch last Friday so I'm officially working at 888. The nearest job I have ever. Missing chongpang's peeps and chairs but well it is not bad here. At least I've A with me most of the time hehehe.
I can almost count down to the day I fly. And the day reno starts. So glad I don't have to go through the 'temporary toilet', 8am drilling and dust all over the place.
But at the same time I feel bad for leaving my fam alone to deal with it. Well well.
Sat was well-spent. Hmm managed to nap, had some me-time (to draft blogposts LOL) and attended ht's 21st. Happy advance birthday ^^
Really hope I can meet the people before I leave.
Okay that's all for today. Need to sleep now if not I don't know how I can survive 12h of work and whatsnot for the next few days.

Hello! Yet another week passed, just like that. Life is pretty good except the sucky gpa this semester. I've been working for a while and it has been really easy. Can't say super duper fun but it's not too bad haha.
Best things about work are 1. I get to work with Crystal/we spent a lot of time talking to her
2. I get to eat Hot Fudge Sundae everyday! I don't know why the sudden craze but it's hell good.
Met my kor roommates/housemates for the first time. Can't wait for the trip now! It seems like it will a lot of fun :D
TGIF spent at home watching roommates + xmen. Movie was not bad, not much action but the plot is pretty nice. Had a bad day so cheered myself up with a cup of hot fudge sundae and wintermelon milk tea. Bubble tea is probably the most sinful treat I give myself. I love bubble teas so much!!
Came home to a parcel from TSS! Finally a power bank. I've been living without one since forever.
It was a surprise package and I'm so thankful!
BUTZ, I don't know how to use it at all. I can't charge my phone with it? Yeap I will try to figure it out again : |
Sat was Ape's 21st and Sun was baby's 1st month! I held him in my arms whoop so small and vulnerable. Need to buy more cute stuff for baby :D:D

Will be more busy from the next week onwards but everything will be worth it!
I guess I end with the same kind of thing every single week hahahaa.
