I’m back with another hotel review and this time round, in Bangkok. I’m still playing around with the style of such reviews but it always has to be 1. Informative 2. Easy to read 3. Helpful. Do let me know if you have any suggestions!
The lobby is located on the 3rd level. Marwin Villa's contemporary style gave this boutique hotel a winning edge over many places. I was definitely spoilt by the warm hospitality and prompt service of the crew in all the hotels I’ve stayed in Bangkok, and Marwin Villa is no exception.
There are free snacks and drinks for guests and you can also sit around the lobby (lots of sofa and couch!). The floor-to-ceiling windows around the building really give the place a lot of natural light.
At the same time, their in-house massage parlour is just round the corner. We had an hour of foot massage and it was so good. Happy hour price (11-6/7pm). If you are looking for good and comfortable massages, recommended! It’s a stone’s throw away from the massage parlour street located in Pratunam.
Opted for a basic superior room for a quick shut eye and early morning shopping and I was gladly surprised.
Room comes with double bed, good amount of space, large table and mirrors, fridge, safe, bottled water and Philips hair dryer. Yes, not some random brand hahaa
The linens used are top quality; bed and pillows are also superb for its price.
Bathroom is small but very clean. My top pet peeve is unclean room/bathroom.
Things worth mentioning:
- Extra security for rooms
- Near to many pratunam shopping areas but far enough for peace and quiet
- Good and affordable massage at hotel
- Quality bed and linen
- Clean
- Does not come with toiletries
- 2 bottled water given, not refillable
- Renovation going on around the premise, does not affect stay
- Value for money
