Packaging
Being the mini/sample size, it is still very well-packaged: compact and sturdy. Very small to carry around so this is travel-friendly. I got this mini size initially to give this product a test. Even though this is very small in size, it is enough to last for a long time.
The details at the back of the container are in Korean. The expiry date of the lip mask is printed on the bottom of the container.
Scent
A very sweet strawberry scent, almost like smacking strawberry candy on your lips. Don't worry, it will not attract ants.Consistency
Almost ointment/balm consistency and it has a little bit of resistance when you are applying it on the lips.
Application
This mini/sample size I bought does not come with an applicator, you can use a cotton bud for a clean application.On Lips
Even if you apply a thick layer, it will not feel thicky/tacky. The lip mask will stay on the surface of the lips but it will be fully absorbed when you wake up in the morning.Results
There's something about Laneige lip mask - most of the lip balms work only on the 'surface' level but this, this goes all the way in.No matter how badly chapped my lips were the day before, I will wake up with a much soft lips in the morning. My dead skin always miraculously disappear in the morning. No pain/raw feeling unlike when I am using a lip scrub. They are very right about 'melting away dead skin cells'.
I deal with dry lips for the longest time and long hours of lipstick made it worse. (I don't drink a lot of water too :x). When you have cracked and dry lips, matte lipsticks are your nightmare. Yet, I love matte lipsticks!! Thank God for Laneige lip mask, it really helps to restore and rehydrate my lips in a short period of time. When my lips are beyond repair, this is always my go-to treatment.
I don't think the other flavours come in mini sizes but I am comfortable with the berry scented one.
The handy size makes it very easy to carry around.
