Review: Rimmel Waterproof Wonderful Mascara with Argan Oil

Packaging

Brush 

Shaped like a round comb and the bristles are quite soft. In fact, the whole brush is rather flexible and soft. The brush is bigger than usual and it kind of reminds me of those 'big eyes mascara' from Maybelline. However, it is not very easy to use and it can be quite messy. I also find that the brush is unable to pick up and disperse the right amount of product on my lashes. You can check out the swatch later.

Formulation

Mildly wet with very little fibres present. Argan oil was added into the formula to smoothen lashes and prevent clumps (clumps are a total turn off for me when it comes to mascara). 

Smell

I have never come across a pleasant-smelling mascara. This has a common chemical scent to it.

Colour is quite a true black and this is how it looks on my lashes. 

Barely visible after applying 1-2 layers. 

If you are in for a softer and more natural look, Rimmel waterproof wonderful mascara is a great light-weight mascara pick. It provides a slight lengthening (just slightly) of your lashes. I could barely tell that I have applied anything after layers of it.

However, if you want more dramatic or more obvious lashes, I think you should give this a miss.

Overall

A fanciful-designed mascara with very gentle function. The brush is not easy to work with and the formulation does little to give you longer/thicker lashes. Perhaps you are looking for something that gives you a natural lash look then this is something you can check out. However, I feel there are many more mascaras out there that give you the same, if not better, results and they have better brushes to work with so... you take your pick.
